Whats happening in Ukraine demands attention from the world for support and solidarity. We decided to pair up with a friend and organize a multidisciplinary exhibition to showcase the strength of Ukrainian artists, whilst also raising funds for the resistance. We were honored to debut more than 30 visual Ukranian artists of all disciplines. Many of them now refugees in Berlin, but also many still residing in Ukraine. We were honored to have one performer, Aziza Eskender, that took a 20 hour bus ride from Ukraine to Berlin to be apart of the show. She did a dance performance outside on the street and then finshed her performance with her music inside. During the entire musical performance, she wore a mask. At the end of performance, she put the national anthem of Ukraine on, took her mask off, and started crying in front of everyone. It was a highly emotional, a moment of pure vulnerability and solidarity.
